L-R: Robin Shulman, Jeanine Banks, Vintwon Jones, Matthew Linderman and Danny Schulman (Press Release) Boca Raton, FL, February 26, 2026 –Board members and the President of Boca West Country Club recently participated in a Habitat for Humanity groundbreaking in South Bay, for which Boca West served as the Home Sponsor. The home, located at 145 NW 10th Ave, South Bay, FL, is the 16th local Habitat for Humanity home sponsored by Boca West Country Club over the last 15 years, helping to provide affordable homes earned by a hard-working family or individual. The home is being built for Vintwon Jones, who was born and raised in Belle Glade. Vintwon is an Army National Guard veteran, having served in the armed forces since 2020. Serving others has always been important to him and over the years, he has donated food to people experiencing homeless ness and traveled to help build a school and church in Jamaica. Bintwon’s mother encouraged him to look into Habitat for Humanity. Vintwon decided to apply for the Homeownership Program to build a better life for himself. As he works through the program requirements, he will put in sweat equity and learn about budgeting and home maintenance.
Now, Vintwon will be able to lay down the roots and build a strong foundation close to where he was born and raised; and with the stability and affordability that a Habitat home brings. “We were so inspired by Vintwon and were honored to help him achieve his dream of home ownership in partnership with Habitat for Humanity,” said Matthew Linderman, CCM, President, COO and General Manager of Boca West Country Club. “Investing in our local community is important to the members and team at Boca West and we have established a legacy of investing in community programs that have the power to change lives.” Comments are closed.
