(Press Release) West Palm Beach, Fla. – Constitutional Tax Collector Anne M. Gannon announced today the start of the 2025 Property Tax season with approximately 620,972 property tax bills being mailed to property owners throughout Palm Beach County. More than $6.197 billion is expected to be collected this year. This local revenue will be used to fund critical county and municipal public services, such as the school district, sheriff’s office, healthcare, parks, fire rescue, and libraries. While tax payments are due by March 31, 2026, taxpayers are strongly encouraged to take advantage of the discounts by paying early. “More than 70% of Palm Beach County tax bills are paid by November 30, taking advantage of the 4% discount offered that month,” says Gannon. “The discount reduces to 3% in December, 2% in January and 1% in February. There is no discount if you wait and pay your taxes by the March 31 deadline. Keep in mind that taxes become delinquent April 1 if not paid by the March 31 deadline.”
Convenient Payment Options The easiest and fastest way to pay is online via, www.pbctax.gov.
For those who prefer traditional methods:
Tax Collector Gannon reminds all property owners that per Florida Statutes 197.122, the responsibility to pay taxes remains even if a bill is lost or delayed in the mail. Taxes must be paid by March 31, 2026. Any taxes outstanding on April 1, 2026, will become delinquent. Taxpayers are encouraged to visit www.pbctax.gov for complete details about property taxes as well as information about enrolling in the convenient and budget-friendly Installment Payment Plan for future tax year payments. It is too late to enroll in this year’s Installment Payment Plan as enrollment closed last April, but applications for future years’ taxes are available now through April 30, 2026, by visiting www.pbctax.gov/ipp. Palm Beach County residents can visit www.pbctax.gov for additional information or they can contact the Palm Beach County Tax Collector at [email protected] or by calling 561-355-2264.
