(Press Release) West Palm Beach, FL – (April 2, 2026) – Trial lawyer, native son, and cycling advocate BillBone will host the 2nd Annual BillBone Olympic Triathlon on Sunday, April 12, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Okeeheelee Park. Building on the success of last year’s inaugural event, this year’s race features a rare opportunity for participants to compete alongside Olympic triathletes—Team USA Silver Medalist Kevin McDowell, along with Kirsten Kasper and Matthew Sharpe. Joining the event this year is Kevin McDowell, a Team USA Olympian and silver medalist in the Mixed Relay at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Returning to West Palm Beach are Kirsten Kasper, who represented Team USA in the women’s triathlon at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, and her husband, Matthew Sharpe, an Olympic triathlete for Canada and IRONMAN champion, who both headlined last year’s inaugural race.
“The event continues to grow as a signature endurance race in Palm Beach County, drawing both competitive athletes and first-time participants,” said BillBone. “Welcoming Kevin to this year’s lineup, along with Kirsten and Matt returning, builds on the incredible energy of last year and gives participants a rare opportunity to race alongside some of the best in the world.” The event features a range of race formats for athletes of all levels, including Olympic-distance and sprint triathlons, duathlons, aquabike, and relay divisions. Set against the scenic backdrop of Okeeheelee Park, participants will experience a professionally produced, USAT-sanctioned course designed for both competitive athletes and first-time racers. Following the races, participants and spectators can enjoy a complimentary breakfast. In addition to race-day excitement, registered participants are invited to an exclusive Meet & Greet Cocktail Party featuring Olympic triathletes Kevin McDowell, Kirsten Kasper, and Matthew Sharpe on Friday, April 10, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Bill Bone Bike Law, 475 Hibiscus Street, West Palm Beach, FL 33401.
