(Press Release) MIAMI BEACH, Fla., 7 November 2025 – The Team Brady Leaders’ Summit brought together global figures from sport, technology, and sustainability on Thursday night for an exclusive evening at The Setai, Miami Beach, on the eve of the final race weekend of the season.

Hosted by Louis Aguirre, presenter and reporter for WPLG, the event featured two high-impact panels with Team Owner, Tom Brady, E1 Chairman Alejandro Agag, E1 Founder and CEO, Rodi Basso, and partner executives from Bombay Sapphire (Bacardi Group), Cambridge Mobile Telematics (CMT), 4ocean Foundation, WaterAid, and Seabird Technologies.

TOM BRADY, TEAM OWNER said “To have E1 in my own back yard is special, I’m very excited to showcase this amazing city and bring this sport to my home town.  I’ve got a great team here with me, my Team Brady teammates and I couldn’t be more proud of the way they way they’ve performed under pressure and the way they continue to achieve greatness in this series. The fact that we’re sitting on a three point lead going into the last race of the season is really exciting for all of us.”

Set against the elegant backdrop of The Setai, Miami Beach, the evening blended conversation with celebration. Guests enjoyed live DJ sets, acrobatic performances, a display of Tom Brady memorabilia curated by Fanatics and a live art installation showing 100kgs of ocean plastic, the amount 4ocean Foundation removes for every point Team Brady scores in the UIM World Championship.`

Three live food stations showcased The Setai’s award-winning restaurants and were complemented by a Bombay Sapphire cocktail bar serving the signature drink of E1, the Bombay Sapphire Sparkling Lemon. The night captured the essence of what E1 and Team Brady represent: innovation, collaboration, and a shared belief that sport can be a catalyst for change.

Ahead of the panels, CMT’s Co-Founder and CEO William V. Powers announced that the company will be extending its partnership with Team Brady, reinforcing its commitment to advancing data-driven mobility performance and sustainability with the E1 Team.

PANEL HIGHLIGHTS

The opening session saw Tom Brady, Alejandro Agag, Tony Latham (President, North America, Bacardi Group), William V. Powers (CEO, CMT), and Sophi Horne (Founder, Seabird Technologies) discuss the origins of E1, the inspiration behind Team Brady, and the power of partnering with the team and E1 in terms of environmental and commercial impact.

Tony Latham, President, North America, Bacardi Group said “This is the first sports partnership that Bombay Sapphire has entered into, and there were three things that got us excited about this. First of all the pioneering spirit is at the core of the Bombay Sapphire and Bacardi family, secondly, sustainability is at the heart of what we believe in and that was a catalyst for partnering with E1 and Team Brady. And finally, we’re about phenomenal experiences, and this event, it doesn’t get any better than this. We are so happy to be here in Miami and bring it all home.”

William V Powers, CEO, CMT added: “It’s our mission to make the world’s drivers safer using AI and technology to do that, and hopefully bring it to boats and cars all over the world. Team Brady is just such a great fit, we’re thrilled to be extending our partnership with the team, this is just the beginning.”

The second panel turned the spotlight to Race for Change — Team Brady’s sustainability platform designed to impact change on and off the water, and empower global action.

This time, Tom Brady was joined by Rodi Basso (E1 Founder & CEO), Kelly Parsons (CEO, WaterAid America), Alex Schulze (CEO & Founder, 4ocean), and Emma Kimiläinen (Team Brady Pilot) to discuss how E1’s global stage can and is driving environmental and social progress.

Alex Schulze, CEO & Founder, 4ocean, highlighted the importance of sports series and teams supporting sustainability initiatives. He commented: “I am so excited for what this sport does for sustainability, we’re making sustainability cool. I can’t tell you how important the E1 series and legends like Tom Brady involved is, to drive this message forward. If we want to reduce the amount of plastic entering the ocean every year, we’ve got to make it cool. I’m very excited about the partnership, we want to show people the positive impact we can have.”

Kelly Parsons, CEO, WaterAid America said: “The world needs to know how important it is for people to have access to safe, clean drinking water. Right now, two billion people in the world, don’t have that. We know the power of E1, sports and competition to bring authenticity and amplification to our mission and when Team Brady says it and showcases it, that makes a huge difference. I’m happy Team Brady is getting it done on the water, we want to get water done too.”

During this panel, Alex Schulze announced that 4ocean Foundation are renewing their partnership with the team for 2026 and pledged to double the amount of plastic removed per point Team Brady scores, to 200kg per point.

Over 200 people attended the event, with VIPs including Brittnie Bassant, Kimberly Birch Carney, Ben and Nina Couris, Mo and Rania Elbanna, Peter and Daphnee Goldberg, Raluca Kotowski, Jack Lighton, Tori Linder, Rich and Kelly Luchini, Briani Mazur, Dr. Patrick Nolan and Sarah MacDonald, Mark Pathy, Ryan Pruitt, Thomas and Renee Quealy, Oz and Lauren Rashid, Alex and Virginia Schulze, Inga Thordar, and Shawn and Joelle Zarbatany.
