The cooler weather Monday was a perfect time to hold rowing practice on the Intra-Coastal. These folks are giving it their best while the coach looks on. -- Gerry
The Village of North Palm Beach hosted a "Food Truck Frenzy" Jan. 9 at Anchorage Park, and they couldn't have scripted a more perfect evening for the event. With over a dozen trucks offering everything from tacos to BBQ, hundreds turned out to enjoy the park and the weather. Along with the food, there was a movie screen set up to show "Minions." We had a frenzy of fun. Check out more photos here. -- Pam and Gerry

No fireplace? No problem! When Florida weather turns chilly, just call up a virtual fireplace and stream it on your TV. Then you have your dog, your favorite socks and a cup of hot chocolate. We're good! -- Pam
Happy New Year, and welcome to 2016!
The blackeyed peas are cooking (it's good luck, you know) and we are eagarly looking forward to what's next for North Palm Beach Life. Still less than 60 days old, Pam and I have had a wonderful time meeting people, snapping photos, enjoying new experiences (kayaking, no less!) and just telling the story of why this part of the world is such a great place to call home. And there is so much to tell! We realize we have barely scratched the surface uncovering the interesting people, places and things that populate the communities of Northern Palm Beach. It's easy to see why there is so much excitement around the coming year. The economy is gaining strength, new businesses and homes are coming online and more people are moving and visiting Florida than ever before. We appreciate everyone who has contributed to our effort, and thank you for helping spread the word about North Palm Beach Life. With page views and visits in the thousands, word has gotten around fast! At the end of the day, we are just the storytellers. YOU are the story. Thanks for being a part our effort, and please join us as we raise a glass to continued health, happiness and success in "the best place to live under the sun." -- Gerry and Pam |
