Visiting guest artist Benjamin Lusk (Romeo & Juliet) returns to the festival in the titular role of the Scottish lord driven to madness by his own greed and ambition. Lusk is a multidisciplinary artist and co-founder and frontman for the Nashville-based indie band, Rally Club. Joining him as Lady Macbeth is powerhouse performer Amy Simms, who appeared in the titular role of the festival’s critically acclaimed production of King Lear.

(Press Release) The South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (SFRTA) will be performing crossing rehabilitation work on Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. in West Palm Beach. This project will require a full closure of the road at the railroad crossing from Friday, February 6, 2026 at 9:00 p.m., through Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 4:00 a.m. The work may extend through Wednesday, February 11, if delayed by weather or unforeseen circumstances.
 
During the closure, SFRTA will rehabilitate the existing tracks, repair rails, and replace crossing surface that will enhance the safety, improve the ride quality for railway and roadway, and improve the resiliency of the corridor.
 
A detour route will be in place to accommodate local traffic. All vehicles will be directed to N. Australian Avenue, with access to 15th Street, 7th Street, or Banyan Boulevard to bypass the work zone.

(Press Release) ​Tequesta, Fla., (January 27, 2026) – Experience the joy of art in real time as Lighthouse ArtCenter (LAC) brings the outdoors to life during its 13th Annual Plein Air Festival, March 1 to 7, 2026. Throughout this free, weeklong celebration, the streets, parks, and waterfronts of Palm Beach and Martin Counties will become open-air studios as 30 award-winning artists from around the world paint local scenes and compete for more than $15,000 in cash and prizes. The public is invited to watch the creative process unfold and experience the French tradition of plein air painting, which means painting “in the open air.”
 
The festival includes live painting demonstrations, artist meet-and-greets, and community events. Freshly painted works are available for purchase at LAC Gallery throughout the week at 373 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, FL 33469.
