Guests enjoyed a cocktail reception with the artist before the evening’s program, which included a thoughtful discussion with Vero Beach Museum of Art Chief Curator, Caitlin Swindell, exploring Scully’s work, creative process and the broader role of art in shaping perspective and human connection. The evening brought CCE’s mission to life, underscoring the importance of investing in high-quality, student-centered learning opportunities for children and families across Palm Beach County.

Boca Junior League Making a Difference

​BOCA RATON, FL (March 30, 2025)– Members of the Junior League of Boca Raton made an extra difference in the community during the organization’s 9th annual Week of Impact which took place March 9-14. Members donated 74 extra hours of volunteer work. During the Week of Impact, Junior League of Boca Raton members packed over 14,000 period supplies for underserved girls, made 250 sandwiches for the Farm Workers Council’s after school and spring break programs, and read to 175 kids in eight classrooms as part of the Junior League Raising Readers program.
 
In addition, during the Week of Impact, Junior League of Boca Raton members volunteered in the HAB Center’s nursery, organized donated clothing and supplies and delivered them to the Child Rescue Coalition and packed boxes of food for underserved kids to take home in order to have food for the weekend at Boca Helping Hands.
​
 “Thanks to our members who went above and beyond the normal number of hours we donate each week to the community,” said Victoria Matthews, president of the Junior League of Boca Raton.  “League members volunteer regularly, but during the Week of Impact, they give even more time to make an even bigger difference.”

'Art of Giving' Raises $1.5 Million

(Press Release) ​(PALM BEACH) —More than 150 community leaders, supporters, The Foundations School (TFS) teachers and parents gathered at Club Colette on March 16 for “The Art of Giving”: Spring Garden Party benefiting The Susan and Dom Telesco Center for Creative Education (CCE). The annual event raised more than $1.5 million to support the creation of a new Learning Garden for TFS at CCE in West Palm Beach.
 
CCE advances academic success through programs that support students, families, and communities. At the center of this work is TFS, a K–5 independent lab school where research-aligned instruction and whole-child supports are implemented to drive strong academic outcomes for underserved students.
