Dania Schwartz, Skip Measelle(Armory Art Center) (Press Release) West Palm Beach, Fla. (April 10, 2026) — The Armory Art Center recently held its inaugural fundraising event, SUPPER, celebrating the arts and West Palm Beach community over a meal while raising awareness for reducing food waste in Palm Beach County. SUPPER welcomed an intimate gathering of local notables. The event took place on Thursday, March 26 at the Armory Art Center in partnership with Palm Beach Harvest, an organization that collects and transports surplus food to local nonprofit distribution centers. Guests enjoyed a delicious meal created by local chef Richard Roberts of Culinary Flair Catering, as well as craft beverages, a silent auction, and an artist talk. Any untouched or unused food was rescued by Palm Beach Harvest after the event.
Attendees also strolled through the Armory’s gallery spaces to view the “Bread and Butter” exhibition, featuring artworks inspired by food by artist and former news anchor Ashleigh Walters, and “TABLE and TOOLS,” a juried exhibition of works that exude anything people can use to make, eat, or create a great table-scape. Proceeds from SUPPER benefited the Armory Art Center, Palm Beach Harvest, and participating artists who sell artworks. Comments are closed.
