Armory Art Center Launches Matching Campaign

(Press Release) July 13, 2026 (West Palm Beach, Fla.) – The Armory Art Center is planning to relaunch its Artist in Residence Program—and they need the community’s help to make the initiative a success.

The Armory's Artist in Residence Program is designed to nurture emerging and established visual artists, promoting their creative, intellectual, and professional development. For a few years, the program has been on hiatus, and the Armory is ready to bring it back, thanks to the help of its staff, board, and the community.

Every contribution will be matched thanks to a kind benefactor, doubling the Armory’s impact and serving even more working artists—while advancing Palm Beach County’s arts community.

“We invite the community to partner with us as we seek to relaunch the Artist in Residence Program and put more artists to work,” said Jill Brown, Armory CEO. “Every contribution will directly help us equip artists with essential skills to excel as teaching artists, learn how to effectively manage a professional art department, and contribute to Palm Beach County’s vibrant cultural community.”
