Artists Invited to Join Creative Market

(Press Release) WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (September 17, 2026) — The Armory Art Center is now accepting artist applications for participation in the 10th year of its Creative Market.

The juried art festival will take place at the Armory Art Center’s historic West Palm Beach campus December 5-6, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, showcasing a wide array of artisans, styles, and wares—plus performing artists and delicious craft food and beverages for guests to enjoy.

Located within walking distance of CityPlace in downtown West Palm Beach, Antique Row, the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, and the Norton Museum of Art, the market hosts nearly 5,000 visitors every year, giving professional artists the chance to meet and sell their artworks to visitors and residents alike.

The Creative Market will also include a special juried art exhibition, Humorous: The Art of Laughter, celebrating how humor unites diverse cultures, mends emotional scars, challenges societal norms, and illuminates life’s ironies through laughter and humor. It runs November 2 – December 26, 2026 at the Armory Art Center.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming many talented artists and vendors from across Florida and beyond to showcase their artworks—from painting and photography and furniture to jewelry—during the 10th anniversary of our contemporary art, craft, and design market,” said Jill Brown, CEO. “This is the perfect opportunity for working artists to sell goods to guests who are ready to start shopping for the holidays, or to showcase their artworks in our humor-inspired exhibition.”

How to Apply:

Artists are invited to apply in basketry, ceramics, decorative fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, paper, wearable art, wood, leather, sculpture, painting, printmaking, and more. Exhibitors are chosen by a jury of highly qualified 2D and 3D fine artists and craftspeople. 

The Creative Market application deadline is October 2, 2026. Applications submitted by October 2 will get reviewed, juried and provided a decision early. Artists that need to rent a tent must apply by October 2. EXTENDED DEADLINE: October 30 (you cannot rent a tent and you will be notified by October 30).

Artists may also apply to be featured in Humorous: The Art of Laughter by October 4, 2026.
