Ballet Palm Beach Announces 25th Season

(Press Release) ​(Palm Beach Gardens, FL – August 27, 2026) Ballet Palm Beach, the county’s own professional ballet company, announces its landmark 25th Anniversary Season with a blockbuster lineup of literary masterpieces, world premieres and festive fundraisers.
 
This year, Founding Artistic and Executive Director Colleen Smith also marks 50 years serving as a cultural ambassador of professional ballet for Palm Beach County. “It is a privilege to have spent these decades building a home for ballet in our community,” said Smith. “I am deeply proud of the artists we have shaped, and for the Company we have built. I invite everyone to join us this year as we celebrate our landmark season with these incredible productions and community events.”

The Ballet Palm Beach 2026 - 2027 Anniversary season includes the electrifying, Ballet Palm Beach world premiere of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein (October 22 – 24) followed by the festive holiday tradition, The Nutcracker (December 4 – 6).  Next, experience the haunting, true story of hope amidst darkness during the world premiere of Anne Frank (March 5 – 7). Then, step into a world of enchantment with the beloved fairy tale, Cinderella.  Finally, celebrate midsummer with magic and mischief on the main stage when the fairies take over for William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream (June 26).
 
Offstage, Ballet Palm Beach welcomes everyone to join Company dancers and supporters for a host of delightful events including the annual Cocktails en Pointe on October 15, and the annual "All That Glitters" Gala at the Breakers on January 28. Educational productions, community events, and pop-up performances crown this silver season celebrating 25 years of timeless magic.
