Steve King, Kori Ernst, Daniel Hostettler, the President/CEO of The Boca Raton (Press Release) Boca Raton, Fla. — Boca Helping Hands has been selected as a recipient of an inaugural grant from The Boca Raton Foundation for Charitable Givingâ, the philanthropic arm of The Boca Raton. South Florida’s iconic private club and resort has played a defining role in the community for a century, and continues to expand on that position with this funding. The grant, funded through a portion of paid room night revenue, was presented on April 28, 2026 at an Inaugural Grant Reception. Boca Helping Hands was among 15 South Florida nonprofits recognized in the foundation’s first-ever grant cycle, which distributed more than $150,000 to organizations working in food security, education, and the well-being of women and children across Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties. Boca Helping Hands was nominated for consideration by an associate of The Boca Raton—a member of the resort’s team who put forward Boca Helping Hands based on their direct knowledge of its work and impact.
“The most meaningful thing about this foundation is that it started with our people. Boca Helping Hands was nominated by an associate who is part of our team every day and believes in this organization enough to put their name behind it. That level of conviction deserves to be backed,” said Daniel Hostettler, President & Chief Executive Officer of The Boca Raton. Boca Helping Hands (BHH) is a community-based nonprofit that provides Food Assistance and Workforce Development Programs to help individuals and families improve their quality of life and build financial stability. Through its various programs, BHH assists over 35,000 people annually, making them one of the largest nonprofit service providers in South Florida. “We are so grateful to The Boca Raton Foundation for Charitable Giving for their support and for choosing Boca Helping Hands as one of 15 South Florida nonprofits in their first-ever grant cycle,” said Boca Helping Hands Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Andrew Hagen. “This gift strengthens our mission to offer a hand up to those in need, and we are honored to be serving our community alongside the team at The Boca Raton.” Comments are closed.
