(Press Release) SINGER ISLAND — On January 21, from 6 to 8 p.m., Amrit Ocean Resort will host the “Mood Food Cooking Experience,” an intimate brain-health cooking class and dinner led by Dr. Uma Naidoo, a Harvard-trained nutritional psychiatrist, professional chef, nutritional biologist, and author of the national bestseller, This Is Your Brain on Food.
 
The immersive experience will take place in the resort’s Penthouse, offering guests a unique opportunity to explore the powerful connection between food, mental wellness, and longevity.

Known for her innovative Mood Food philosophy, Dr. Naidoo brings together nutrition, lifestyle medicine, and culinary expertise in a one-of-a-kind dining experience. During the hands-on cooking class and shared dinner, guests will learn how to prepare delicious, mood-enhancing meals using scientifically backed ingredients shown to support brain and heart health.
 
Throughout the evening, Dr. Naidoo will discuss how food impacts mental well-being and highlight surprising foods that may help combat depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, dementia, brain fog, insomnia, fatigue, bipolar disorder, and low libido.
 
Participants will prepare and enjoy a thoughtfully curated, brain- and heart-healthy menu designed to support overall wellness and longevity. Biodynamic wines will be served while guests cook and dine, reinforcing balance as an essential part of the wellness journey.
