(PRESS RELEASE)_MIAMI (Oct. 25, 2023) - Brightline, the only provider of modern, eco-friendly, intercity rail in America, is bringing back the Miami HEAT Buzzer Beater trains for the 2023/2024 season and now serving fans from Central Florida. As the regular season tips off October 25, Buzzer Beater trains now include service from the Brightline Orlando Station presented by Orlando Health, providing the option to take in a game and return to Orlando the same evening. The Buzzer Beater once again continues to feature trains from West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale and Aventura. Also debuting for this season are new HEAT-themed cocktails, the Grey Goose Blood Orange and Grey Goose Watermelonade available at Mary Mary. Best of all, fans arriving at MiamiCentral on Brightline miss all the traffic and have a short walk to the Kaseya Center for a seamless connection to see the HEAT.
“Brightline connecting South Florida sports fans to their favorite games began with the Miami HEAT and we are proud to expand this Buzzer Beater tradition to Central Florida with Orlando service for the upcoming season,” shares Brightline Senior Vice President Partnerships and Sales Johanna Rojas. “We look forward to fans taking advantage of our game-day service and wish the Miami HEAT a successful season.”
Fans can purchase HEAT food and beverage specials in the station and on board including Brightline’s Corona beer and Bacardi Rum Punch HEAT can specials. Mary Mary menu items include chicken wings and spicy empanadas to enjoy before the game with fellow fans.
Returning as an official partner of the HEAT, Brightline’s Buzzer Beater trains are available for all of the regular-season games and Miami HEAT fans can expect special fan giveaways in partnership with the HEAT and activities and events at stations throughout the season.
The train service provides fans three train arrivals within 30 minutes of the game start time and departure scheduled 30 minutes after the final buzzer, allowing fans to catch every second of the action.
