(PRESS RELEASE)_Orlando, Fla. (Nov. 1, 2023) - Brightline, the only provider of modern, eco-friendly, intercity rail in America, celebrates its multi-year partnership with Orlando Health with an unveiling event of its new Orlando Station name “Brightline Orlando Station in Partnership with Orlando Health” and revealing the official Orlando Health-branded Brightline train. The partnership underscores Brightline and Orlando Health's shared vision to elevate community engagement by connecting Florida’s first higher speed intercity rail with one of the state’s top not-for-profit healthcare providers. The partnership is a collaborative approach between Brightline and Orlando Health that improves transportation and fosters a healthier, more connected community by improving access to award winning healthcare services and raising overall awareness for health and well-being initiatives including mental health awareness. As Brightline’s official healthcare partner in Central Florida, Orlando Health’s partnership also includes the naming of the Brightline Orlando Station, a branded Orlando Health train, brand representation at Brightline Orlando station and visibility on Brightline collateral and digital platforms. As a pillar in the Central Florida community, Orlando Health will collaborate with Brightline as the company develops its own corporate social responsibility initiatives in the region.
“This partnership exemplifies the remarkable synergy that can emerge when leaders in healthcare and transportation join forces,” said President at Brightline Patrick Goddard. “I applaud Orlando Health for its vision and we look forward to working together to connect the state of Florida.” “The Orlando Health-branded Brightline train represents our partnership of connectivity, promotes health awareness and is our visual commitment to providing high-quality care,” said Andrew Snyder, Orlando Health Senior Vice President, Marketing and Communications. “Patients outside of Central Florida can access our world-class healthcare system through the region’s first high-speed rail system. We are excited to showcase our trailblazing collaboration with Brightline.” “Powerful partnerships like this help to advance our region,” said Kevin J. Thibault, CEO of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. “Congratulations to both Brightline and Orlando Health on their shared vision to promote community engagement and connectivity, which reflects Orlando International Airport’s mission to seamlessly connect Florida and the world through exceptional experience, collaboration, and creativity.” The event featured remarks from key stakeholders, and a first look at the Orlando Health-branded Brightline train and a behind-the-scenes reveal of how the 4-coach train was wrapped in Orlando Health branding. Local dignitaries, community leaders, and members of the media joined Orlando Health and Brightline to celebrate this exciting partnership. The event featured a gift presented by the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) to Brightline and Orlando Health symbolizing the union of rail and aviation. In October, Brightline began running 30 trains daily with 15 daily departures from Miami and Orlando. The company also launched its new All-Station Shared pass, offering set pricing for multiple trips between Brightline’s Orlando and five South Florida stations. Last week, Brightline formally launched a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a new station planned for the Treasure Coast of Florida. Brightline’s Orlando Station is meticulously designed and built through the lens of today’s modern traveler. The 37,350 square foot station is located in Orlando International Airport’s new 80,000 sq. ft. Train Station facility adjacent to Terminal C with direct access to the other airport terminals A and B via the airport Terminal Link (automated people mover) in under five minutes.
