Credit: ACCF (Press Release) DELRAY BEACH, FL (November 17, 2025) — Achievement Centers for Children & Families, which has served southern Palm Beach County since 1969 with aftercare, pre-school and summer camp for underserved families, is inviting community members to make a meaningful impact this holiday season through Adopt-a-Class, Adopt-a-Program, and the annual toy drive. The organization is currently collecting toys for children ages one to eighteen. Collection boxes can be delivered to businesses and organizations throughout the community. "The holidays can be a difficult time for some Achievement Centers families who have few resources," said Stephanie Seibel, CEO of the organization. "Every year, we strive to help by collecting toys that bring joy to children who might otherwise go without." Through the Adopt-a-Class initiative, community members can sponsor one of eight classrooms with a $1,500 annual contribution. Each donation provides essential resources including on-site field trips, arts and crafts supplies, STEAM materials, curriculum resources, snacks for special occasions, and PPE safety supplies.
Sponsors receive exclusive benefits including periodic classroom updates, invitations to read to students, participation in October's Trunk or Treat event, attendance at the May preschool graduation, and recognition on a plaque displayed outside the adopted classroom. "An Adopt-a-Class gift is perfect for someone who has everything—it's the gift of making a meaningful difference in a child's life and being part of their educational journey," said Stephanie Seibel, CEO of Achievement Centers for Children & Families. Community supporters can also help with the Achievement Centers' Platinum Steppers and Drum Line programs, which engage youth from after-school programs in performances at organizational and community events. These programs promote healthy living, self-respect, leadership skills, teamwork, and good sportsmanship. Donations fund uniforms and costumes, equipment, transportation, and snacks.
