Cultural Council Presents Solo Exhibit

(Press Release) Lake Worth Beach, Fla. (June 18, 2026) – The Cultural Council for Palm Beach County's final solo exhibition of its 2025-2026 season, Metamorphosis is set to open in July, featuring works by Delray Beach-based mixed-media artist Dominique Denis.
 
Denis’s work explores the intersection of art and architecture through themes of nostalgia, identity, transformation, and belonging. Using fabric, hand-built ceramic sculptures, wood, and yarns, she creates immersive installations that reimagine domestic forms.

Her new body of work blurs the boundaries between past and present, interior and exterior. Denis’s research-driven practice explores collective memory as embedded in the built environment.
 
“Dominique's installation will transform the solo gallery into an experiential space for the viewer by combining her ceramic works with a built environment,” said Jessica Ransom, Director of Artist Services for the Cultural Council.
 
Denis holds degrees in Architecture and Urban Planning and brings over two decades of experience in design, planning, and public art curation.
 
The exhibition will be on view in the Cultural Council’s Gayle and Paul Gross Gallery from July 7 – Friday, August 21. Guests are invited to an opening reception of Metamorphosis on Thursday, July 2 from 5 to 7 p.m. The reception is free to attend; however, we kindly ask guests to RSVP. The exhibition is free and open to the public at the Cultural Council’s headquarters located in downtown Lake Worth Beach (Location and Public Hours).
