Delray Historical Society Hosts Easter Party

The Delray Beach Historical Society hosted an Easter Celebration for almost 40 children from Achievement Centers for Children and Families. The morning started with a reading of Peter Rabbit by Kae Jonsons of the Delray Beach Beach Public Library. Next the children decorated sugar cookies, went on an Easter Egg hunt, ate pizza and ice cream, and took a journey the gardens.  Monica Mclean was the main organizer along with Mike Cruz, Larry Buttell, John Miller, Connie Cook Lyons, Winnie Diggans Edwards, and Ashley Roegiers. -- (Press Release)
