Ashleigh Walters (Press Release) West Palm Beach Fla. (Feb. 20, 2026) -- Join the Armory Art Center for SUPPER! Enjoy a family-style meal in the Armory Art Center’s gallery and push the boundaries on what it means to support community. This new fundraiser bridges community-building and impact. Each year the Armory will pARTner with local artists and a non-arts nonprofit to support each organization’s mission through a creative yet casual SUPPER. This year’s pARTners are Palm Beach Harvest—an organization that collects and transports surplus food to nonprofit distribution centers in Palm Beach County--and artist Ashleigh Walters. The award-winning former local news anchor is a master storyteller who now heads a video production company. Her curiosity in learning about people, their quirks, and their culture is revealed in her art. SUPPER will take place on Thursday, March 26 at 6 p.m. at the Armory Art Center. The meal will be created by local chef Richard Roberts of Culinary Flair Catering. The limited ticket event will also include beverages, a silent auction, an artist talk, and more.
Unlike formal plated meals or chaotic buffets, SUPPER creates an authentic atmosphere that encourages deeper engagement while reducing waste. Any untouched or unused food will be rescued by Palm Beach Harvest after the event. “This exclusive event reminds us that creating and sharing food is a powerful way to bridge gaps and create community,” said Jill Brown, Armory CEO. “We look forward to partnering with Palm Beach Harvest to celebrate local visual and culinary artists while addressing food insecurity in a meaningful way. Please join us for SUPPER.” Simultaneously, the Armory will display “Bread and Butter,” an exhibition with works by Ashleigh Walters. The exhibition will showcase the multi-faceted role that food plays: not only as sustenance and nutrition, but also as a vessel for memory, identity, healing, and connection. The Armory will also showcase “TABLE and TOOLS,” a juried exhibition of works that exude anything people can use to make, eat, or create a great tablescape. Both exhibitions run March 16 through May 8, 2026. All artwork is for sale with proceeds supporting the artists and Armory. Proceeds from SUPPER will benefit the Armory Art Center, Palm Beach Harvest, and participating artists who sell artwork. Don’t wait. Save your seat at the table or consider sponsoring this new fundraiser at armoryart.org/supper. Comments are closed.
