Credit: CPSFL (Press Release) RIVIERA BEACH, FLA — Community Partners of South Florida (CPSFL) is proud to announce the overwhelming success of its annual holiday toy drives, held throughout December to support local families in need. Hosted at two popular neighborhood venues, the events brought the community together to ensure that every child in the CPSFL network experiences the magic of the holiday season. The festivities kicked off on December 3 at the Waterway Cafe in Palm Beach Gardens, followed by a second spirited gathering on December 11 at Mole Cantina Mexicana in Wellington. Thanks to the incredible outpouring of support from partner Valley Bank, residents and local business leaders, the organization collected over 1,000 toys and raised nearly $4,000 in monetary donations.
Going beyond a simple distribution, CPSFL staff transformed the gift-giving process into a meaningful experience for parents. Staff members and volunteers from Art4Smiles as well as The Breakers Palm Beach Resort acted as "personal shoppers," guiding guests through the donations to help them select gifts on their children’s wishlists. "I don't know what I would do if I did not have Community Partners’ support,” said client Barbara Marshall-Muller. “They have truly saved my life." The success of these events highlights the deep-rooted spirit of giving found within the South Florida community. "We are profoundly moved by the kindness shown by our partners as well as every individual who walked through the doors with a gift in hand or made a donation at our website," said Kelly Powell, CEO of Community Partners of South Florida. "Seeing the community rally together this holiday season is a beautiful reminder of what we can achieve when we look out for one another. These donations do more than provide toys; they provide hope and relief to parents, allowing them to focus on the joy of the season." While the toy drives were a resounding success, the need for community support continues year-round. Members of the public who wish to contribute to the purchase of additional gifts or support CPSFL’s ongoing family services are encouraged to make a secure online donation.
