(Press Release) West Palm Beach, FL (August 27, 2025) -- The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts announces its exhilarating On Stage WOW! 2025-2026 season. Palm Beach County’s #1 entertainment venue offers an ovation-worthy lineup of award-winning shows, internationally acclaimed artists and powerful performances to appeal to audiences of all ages. In addition to performances in the 2,195-seat Alexander W. Dreyfoos Concert Hall, the Kravis Center will present a diverse array of theatre, music and dance in the intimate 300-seat Marshall E. Rinker, Sr. Playhouse and Helen K. Persson Hall.

With over seven million followers across his social media, JOSH JOHNSON<> was recently called “the funniest guy on the internet” by WIRED and is a star on the rise. He's an Emmy®-nominated writer, stand-up comedian, actor and NAACP Award winner from Louisiana by way of Chicago. Johnson is currently a rotating host and correspondent on Comedy Central’s Emmy® & Peabody Award-winning program The Daily Show where he was previously a writer for seven years. Johnson is also a former writer and performer on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he made his late-night debut in 2017.

As a stand-up, Johnson headlines theaters, clubs, colleges and festivals around the world and you can currently find him on his FLOWERS TOUR. 20th African American Film Festival: Dance Like a Butterfly, Sting Like a Bee

Dr. Francis and her special guests offer you a journey with unforgettable sports and dance films by extraordinary filmmakers. Like movies, dance and sports connect people. They incite fierce rivalries. For talented youth, they can be a way out of tough places. Dance and sports are fun, yet they inspire complex engagement with history, art and society. This year’s AFRICAN AMERICAN FILM FESTIVAL mixes immersive documentaries, recent romantic dramas and classic black-and-white movies. Saluting dancers’ athleticism and praising the finesse athletes bring to the game, DANCE LIKE A BUTTERFLY, STING LIKE A BEE showcases heroic stories that might have been overlooked and spotlights films starring some of the greatest dancers and athletes of all time.
