Kravis Day of Dance Celebrates Black History

(Press Release) ​Jan. 26, 2026 (WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.) — Natural Movers Foundation is gearing up for its annual “MOVED: A Celebration of Black History and Culture Through Dance”—South Florida’s only day of dance in celebration of Black History Month.

The third annual MOVED event will take place on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026 (8:30am-5:30pm) at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts.

​Experienced dancers and those new to dance can take masterclasses in modern, ballet, African dance, hip hop, contemporary, and more. All classes are taught by artists of the African Diaspora, honoring the cultural roots and movement legacies celebrated during Black History Month.

This year’s featured artist is David “The Crown” Stalter Jr., World Champion of the “World Hip Hop Dance Championship” and USA Champion of “Red Bull Dance Your Style,” returning to MOVED for the second time.

MOVED will conclude with a special presentation of repertoire that MOVED 2026 students will learn during the event.

“This experience invites attendees to move, learn, and witness the spaces that Black artists pioneered, carved, and influenced in the field of dance,” said Ericka Squire, Natural Movers founder & CEO. “This immersive, full-day experience will leave participants feeling inspired, energized, and excited about what it means to be a natural mover.”
This event is generously supported by the West Palm Beach Downtown Development Authority in partnership with the Arts and Entertainment District.
