Credit: Kravis Center (Press Release) West Palm Beach, FL (February 12, 2026) – Theater kids will find a home for boundless creativity this summer with the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts’ premier educational programming. Acting, dance, vocal performance, technical theater and more, led by expert teaching artists, provide young people aged 9 to 22 with the opportunity for an unforgettable experience during ArtsCamp, The Broadway Artists Intensive (TBAI) Junior and The Shakespeare Summer Intensive. “The Kravis Center is thrilled to welcome young artists this summer looking to hone their skills under the guidance of experienced teaching artists and Broadway professionals,” said Kravis Center’s Senior Director of Education, Tracy C. Butler. “ArtsCamp, The Broadway Artists Intensive Junior and The Shakespeare Intensive programs provide fun, enriching opportunities for students who share a passion for the arts." ArtsCamp will be held June 1-19. ArtsCamp is an innovative, three-week summer camp that provides young artists with a working knowledge of what it takes to bring a show from an idea to reality. The program offers an intensive performing arts approach focusing on dramatic composition and performance for students ages 9 to 11. No audition is required. Under the guidance of professional teaching artists, campers will explore acting, dance, technical theater and vocal music, culminating in an ensemble piece produced by the young artists and performed for family and friends. For campers with a keen interest in the performing arts, this curriculum allows them to expand their experience and develop new technical and performance skills. The cost for ArtsCamp is $750. Classes are held Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Extended care is available. To apply, please visit kravis.org/artscamp or contact Keena Gumbinner at 561-651-4339 or [email protected]. ArtsCamp is generously sponsored by Rick and Rosemary Johnston and the Max M. and Marjorie S. Fisher Foundation Arts and Culture Fund of Palm Beach and Martin Counties. The Broadway Artists Intensive (TBAI) Junior will be held June 22-26. Created by Broadway professionals Jason Gillman and Jackie Bayne Gillman, TBAI Junior offers students ages 9 to 13 the opportunity to study all areas of the performing arts with daily classes in ballet, jazz, tap, vocal technique, acting and improvisation. No audition is required, but space is limited. TBAI Junior is taught by the same professional Broadway faculty as the more demanding, by-audition-only three-week program, The Intensive, and includes a special guest artist. TBAI Junior is designed for young performers eager to refine their skills in a professional and supportive environment. The cost for The Broadway Artists Intensive Junior is $475, with an additional $25 registration fee. To register, please visit thebroadwayartistsintensive.com. For questions, call 1-855-554-2929. The Shakespeare Summer Intensive brings students aged 15-22 together with leading industry experts for one-on-one instruction in either Acting or Design. Intensive Acting participants will explore all aspects of performing a Shakespearean play including script study, fight choreography, Elizabethan dance and more. Design students will explore historical costume designs, props, scenic design and other staging elements. The Intensive will culminate in a student sharing/exhibition on Friday, July 4, open to friends and families. Students will also enjoy a post-intensive field trip to see the Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival’s world-premiere production of William Shakespeare’s FALSTAFF. The Shakespeare Summer Intensive is offered free of charge to registered students thanks to generous sponsorship from Kids’ Dreams, Inc. In Loving Memory of Alan Lebow.
