Kravis to Host Gregg Allman Documentary

8/3/2026

(Press Release) West Palm Beach, Fla. (August 3, 2026) – The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts announced that Wynonna Judd – The Hard Truth Tour will add a soulful country spin to the season on November 9. Then, the life and music of Gregg Allman will be explored in an exclusive screening of the acclaimed documentary “Gregg Allman: The Music of My Soul” on December 19.

Tickets go on sale Friday, August 7 at 10 a.m. and may be purchased online at kravis.org, at the Box Office Monday through Saturday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. or by calling 561.832.7469.

About Wynonna Judd The Hard Truth Tour:
Pain threaded with joy is the sound of survival. On The Hard Truth, Wynonna isn’t letting go of either one, carrying everything she’s endured and reinventing herself as an artist. This ten-track tribute to deep sorrow and dogged persistence strips away layer after layer of the lush production that defined Wynonna’s previous recordings, delivering in its place her most personal and powerful work yet. ANTI- is proud to continue its tradition of embracing American legends and giving them a platform to reach new heights.

A star her entire adult life, Wynonna’s first number one hit, “Mama He’s Crazy,” was released while she was still a teenager. It was the first of eight consecutive number one singles she released with her mother Naomi, performing as The Judds. When Wynonna set out on her own in 1991, her first three solo singles likewise consecutively topped the country charts. Since then, she’s had multiple solo albums reach multi-platinum sales. She has performed everywhere from “Oprah” and the Kentucky Derby to the Super Bowl halftime show.

Her spectacular voice still flaunts a power as limitless as her horizons. But this time, listeners will hear that voice stripped down, with no effects, as she dives deep and delivers up her soul.

The album will be released on October 2, 2026, on ANTI- Records.

Wynonna Judd is working with Music Community Foundation to donate $1 per ticket to The Only Love Fund to spread joy and love to nonprofits across the country. Learn more at www.cfmt.org/wynonna.

About “Gregg Allman: The Music of My Soul”:
An exclusive screening of “Gregg Allman: The Music of My Soul,” the highly acclaimed full-length feature documentary explores the life and work of the late, great Gregg Allman. $2 from tickets sold for all screenings benefit the Gregg Allman Scholarship Funds or a local charitable organization dedicated to supporting live music. Michael Lehman, lead producer and longtime friend and client, felt Allman Brothers Band fans and lovers of music will want to see this film on the big screen with a professional PA system in venues that, in many cases, had presented live performances from Allman, Dickey Betts, Jaimoe or the Allman Brothers Band themselves.

An intimate conversation will take place after the screening with Michael Lehman, Gregg Allman's longtime manager, dear friend and lead producer of the film sharing never before heard stories!

"It is incredibly rewarding to bring “Gregg Allman: The Music of My Soul” to audiences around the country,” says Michael Lehman. “I hope the attendees leave with an even deeper appreciation for Gregg’s extraordinary music, his remarkable life, and the legacy he continues to inspire.”

“Gregg Allman: The Music of My Soul” had its domestic theatrical premiere earlier this year in 200 major market cinemas across America, presented by Subtext in association with Rolling Stone Films. Directed by Grammy® and Golden Globe® Award-winning filmmaker James Keach, the full-length feature documentary offers a profound portrait of Gregg Allman, one of the most distinctive voices in American music and, as co-founder and frontman of the Allman Brothers Band, a groundbreaking architect of Southern rock. This visionary music documentary traces Allman’s turbulent, transcendent journey through profound personal tragedy and hard-won redemption – from a childhood ruptured by his father’s murder to the soulful emergence that gave birth to Southern rock and permanently reshaped American music. Told through archival recordings, candid interviews and electric live performances, the film weaves an intimate portrait of Allman, honestly reflecting on the death of his brother and bandmate Duane, his battles with addiction and the personal demons that shaped both his life and his blues-driven music. The documentary is anchored by rarely seen concert footage that captures the Allman Brothers Band at their creative peak, offering audiences an immersive, front-row view of one of rock ‘n’ roll’s most powerful live outfits.
