This informative multi-platform outreach is targeted at voters across Palm Beach County, including first-time voters, in the statewide primary on August 18 and the national general election on November 3, 2026. Compelling components of this campaign will include:
Voter Registration & Education Events LWVPBC will host a series of pre-announced, easy-to-access voter registration and education events throughout Palm Beach County – at schools, churches, diverse community activities, senior citizen facilities, and other popular public locations. The schedule will be listed online at LWVPBC.org. VOTE411 Voters’ Guides Informative, easy-to-read guides to competitive political campaigns and ballot issues will be disseminated by LWVPBC in the weeks prior to both the primary and general election. The printed versions of the VOTE411 Voters’ Guides will be carried in select editions of The Palm Beach Post and will be available for convenient pick-up at numerous public libraries. The online version will go live on July 10 and be instantly accessible at LWVPBC.org. Election Expo LWVPBC will host a free Election Expo on September 28, 2026, at the Palm Beach State College Gymnasium, 4200 S. Congress Avenue in Lake Worth 33461. Scheduled for 5:30 to 7:30 pm, this will be a nonpartisan, public, voter engagement event where voters can get clear, direct information about the various candidates and issues on the ballot. The invitations to participate will be sent to candidates on July 13. Presenting partners include Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections, Palm Beach State College, Florida Power & Light Company, Leadership Palm Beach County, the law firms of Searcy Denny Scarola Barnhart & Shipley PA and Smith Ball Baez & Prather Florida Injury Lawyers, and LWVPBC’s Candidate Forums, Membership, and Publications Teams. Meet the Candidate Forums LWVPBC will host several events where local voters can meet and hear from candidates running in a variety of local races, including school board judicial, municipal, state, and national offices. Advance information will be available on the League’s website (LWVPBC.org). The next event is a free and nonpartisan Judicial Candidates Meet & Greet at the Vista Center in West Palm Beach today (June 2), from 6 to 7:15 pm. Hot Topic Luncheons Usually on the third Wednesday of each month, the League hosts these paid events spotlighting specific campaigns, ballot issues, and timely political topics. The luncheons are held from 11 am to 1 pm at the Fountains Country Club, 4476 Fountains Drive in Lake Worth 33467. Advance registration is required at LWVPBC.org. However, the next two Hot Topic Discussions will be free and held on Zoom: ++ Wednesday July 15, with “Voting Rights Under Fire: How the League is Fighting Back” with Jessica Lowe-Minor, president of the League of Women Voters Florida. ++ Wednesday, August 19, with “Primary Election Postmortem” with Brian Crowley and Michael Williams, the co-hosts of YouTube’s Top of Mind Podcast.
