(Press Release) Boca Raton, FL—The hallowed holiday pair—Christmas Eve and Christmas Day—is nearly here and Mia Rosebud is ushering in the occasion with a lineup of beloved Italian classics.
 
In Italy, Christmas Eve, known as La Vigilia (“The Vigil”), is celebrated with a seafood-centric feast shared amongst family and friends. Keeping with this time-honored custom, executive chef Augie Arifi will present a predominantly fruits-of-the-sea spread rooted in the palatable flavors of the Bel Paese holiday table.

CHRISTMAS EVE
Antipasti

Fritto Misto: Pan-fried calamari, shrimp, and octopus with cocktail sauce and a grilled lemon
 
Scungilli Arrabiata: Tender conch sautéed in a spicy tomato sauce over garlic crostini
 
Pasta
Linguine Capesante: In-house-made linguine sautéed in garlic and olive oil with asparagus, heirloom tomatoes, and broiled jumbo sea scallops
 
Carne
Filetto di Manzo Marsala: Two four-ounce filet mignon tournedos tenderized in Marsala wine and paired with button mushrooms and porcini mushroom risotto
 
Pesce
Cioppino: Maine lobster, calamari, clams, mussels, octopus, shrimp, and assorted local-caught fish simmered in an aromatic tomato broth with garlic bread
 
Whole Dover sole sautéed in a lemon–butter sauce with broccolini; filleted tableside
 
CHRISTMAS DAY

Shrimp DeJonghe: Jumbo tiger prawns baked in a garlic-butter crust
 
Pasta
In-house-made lasagna baked in a beef and veal Bolognese sauce with mozzarella cheese
 
Carne
Roasted USDA Prime Creekstone Farms prime rib with sautéed green beans, jalapeño hash browns, au jus, and horseradish cream
 
Pan-roasted breaded Provimi milk-fed veal chop stuffed with prosciutto di Parma, salami, ricotta cheese, roasted peppers, spinach, and mozzarella cheese with sweet bell peppers sautéed in garlic, EVOO, and white wine
 
Pesce
Pan-seared whole Dover sole with wild rice and a lemon beurre blanc sauce; filleted tableside
 
Holiday hours: 4 p.m.-10 p.m. (Christmas Eve) and 3 p.m.-9 p.m. (Christmas Day)
 
Open for dinner daily. Hours are Monday–Thursday, 4–9:30 p.m.; Friday–Saturday, 4–10:30 p.m.; and Sunday, 4–9 p.m.
