(Press Release) (West Palm Beach, FL – August 22, 2025) Mounts Botanical Garden is inviting friends, neighbors and families to SUMMERFEST! West Palm Beach, a festival of great food, fun, kids activities, live music, and entertainment, on Saturday, August 30, from 9 am to 4 pm.
 
Get ready for the ultimate summer celebration! Mounts Botanical Garden is turning up the fun with SummerFest! A special day packed with memory-making experiences for the whole family in Palm Beach County’s premier tropical oasis.

SUMMERFEST! Line-up
10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Classic Car Show by Russ G Events & Classic Cars – A South Florida Classic since 1972, a crowd-wowing array of souped-up and vintage vehicles from multiple eras.
 
10:30 am & 12:00 pm
Butterfly Garden Tours – Discover this special garden area where a variety of host and nectar plants provide essential food and habitat for butterflies. Learn how host plants support caterpillars, while nectar plants sustain adult butterflies and other pollinators. Plus, you’ll spot a variety of butterfly species fluttering among the blooms.

Busch Wildlife Sanctuary Encounter
Complete with fascinating artifacts and rescued Native Florida wildlife ambassadors; discover Florida’s mesmerizing natural history, delve into ecology, unravel the secrets of food chains, endangered species, urban wildlife, and beyond.

Live Latin Entertainment by Flavio Amador & The Playtime Band
Originally from Honduras, singer-songwriter Flavio Amador’s musical style fuses Latin rhythms such as merengue and bachata with pop and urban genres. Flavio has performed at major venues, including appeared the Calle Ocho Festival, and Fiesta On Flagler, as well as TV shows Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento, and the Partnership Realty Music Show.

Children’s Author Veronica Green
Activity & Book Signing of The Earth Fairy
Children’s book author and nature-based educator Veronica Green is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of Earth Stewards. She will be showcasing and signing her book The Earth Fairy, while offering a fun hands-on activity for children.

Mounts Botanical Garden is open to the public Tuesday through Sunday from 9 am to 4 pm (with last entry at 3 pm).
 
Admission:

• $20 for adults
• $18 for seniors, college students and military with IDs
• $13 for ages 6 to 17
• Free for children under age 6, Mounts members, and RAP (reciprocal program) members.
