Nonprofits First Marks 20th Anniversary

(Press Release) West Palm Beach, FL – (Friday, January 30, 2026) – Nonprofits First commemorated its 20th Anniversary with a milestone celebration recognizing two decades of service, innovation, and leadership within Palm Beach County’s nonprofit community. The event also marked the launch of the 2026 Rising Leaders, Advancing Leaders, and Launching Leaders programs, which are leadership initiatives designed to support and empower the next generation of nonprofit professionals.

​Held at South Florida PBS studios, the gathering brought together nonprofit executives, community partners, funders, and alumni of Nonprofits First’s leadership programs. Attendees also enjoyed the Egyptian Pharaohs Immersive Experience, which added a distinctive cultural element to the evening and heightened the occasion's significance.

Over the past twenty years, Nonprofits First has played a pivotal role in strengthening the operational capacity and long-term sustainability of nonprofit organizations throughout Palm Beach County. Through its Accreditation, leadership development pathways, and specialized training programs, the organization has supported thousands of nonprofit professionals and helped build a more resilient and high-performing sector.

During the event, Nonprofits First introduced the past and present 2026 Rising Leaders, Advancing Leaders, and Launching Leaders cohorts, which blend mentorship, skill-building, and peer learning. These initiatives reflect the organization’s continued commitment to preparing dynamic and capable leaders who can navigate the evolving needs of the nonprofit landscape.
