![]() (Press Release) NORTH PALM BEACH —The Village of North Palm Beach will mark a new chapter in public safety leadership on Friday, May 2, with the swearing-in of a new Police Chief and a new Fire Chief. The ceremony will take place at 4 p.m. at the North Palm Beach Country Club, 951 U.S. Highway 1. Police Chief Robert Coliskey and Fire Chief Scott Freseman, both highly respected veterans of their departments, stepped into their new roles recently following the retirements of their longtime predecessors. Chief Coliskey began leading the Police Department in February after the retirement of Chief Richard Jenkins. A career law enforcement professional, Coliskey previously served as Deputy Chief and has advanced steadily through the department’s ranks with dedication and distinction.
Chief Freseman took command of the Fire Department in January after Chief JD Armstrong retired following 42 years of service to the Village. Freseman, like Coliskey, rose through the department ranks to serve as Deputy Chief before taking on the top role. Both Chiefs are known for their exemplary leadership, strong commitment to public service, and longstanding records of ensuring the safety and well-being of North Palm Beach residents. They are widely respected by their teams, colleagues, and by residents throughout North Palm Beach. News media representatives are invited to attend and meet the new Chiefs. Comments are closed.
