Panel to Discuss Future of Communications

(PRESS RELEASE)_Boca Raton, FL (April 11, 2023) — The year 2023 marks the 114th year of The Association for Women in Communications National and a celebration of the organization’s work in empowering women in all forms of communication. In honor of this anniversary, The Association for Women in Communications South Florida Chapter (AWCSFL) is hosting a panel discussion about the future of communications titled “Can AI Transform the Way We Approach PR & Communications?”. The virtual event will be held on April 12, 2023, at 5:30 pm in the metaverse platform, Spatial or Zoom.

Moderated by AWCSFL President Tonya Scholz and Communications Director Emily Taffel-Cohen, the panel will look at the potential of artificial intelligence to revolutionize public relations and marketing communications and how AI tools can create more effective communication strategies.

The panel discussion will include the following:

• Sibila Spalding – PR and communications strategist for various sectors, including technology, finance, and healthcare.
• Andrea Feldeer – An entrepreneur involved in multiple online endeavors, including AI Hacks, Caption Copy, RocketHub, Ampfluence, and more, Andrea is also a USAF veteran, wife, and mother. She is heavily invested in developing processes to help others learn how to employ AI in business and careers. She believes AI will forever change the future of work and commerce. 
• Jennifer Navarrete – A Web3 evangelist, award-winning social media community builder, 18-year podcaster, and NationalPodcast Post Month (NaPodPoMo) founder. 
• Yaeunda Williams – Founder of “Everything Metaverses, Fashion & Human Resources”, a digital and virtual ecosystem that thrives as coaches, mentors, and business partners in Web3.

To Access Via Spatial: 

1. Before the event, users should visit Spatial.io on a computer and create a Spatial account by clicking Login in the top right corner. 
2. Before the event, attendees will receive a private link to the event space.
3. On the event day, users should click on the event link to add it to their Spatial account. Once logged in, the space will appear in the users’ ‘Spaces’ tab. 
4. For desktop browser guests, if you do not see the space in your Spatial account on the day of the event, click the link again & enter the venue. 
5. Open the Spatial app for VR headsets and mobile device guests. Find the event space in your Spatial account on the event day, and click it.
