![]() (Press Release) Delray Beach, FL – March 17, 2025 – The Trust (powered by the NFL Players Association) and Caron Treatment Centers, a nonprofit behavioral healthcare leader for almost 70 years dedicated to treatment, research, prevention and addiction medicine education, announce a new partnership to provide substance use disorder and mental health services for former professional football players. The new partnership will provide former NFL players access to Caron’s full continuum of addiction treatment, life skills support and family and recovery services that are rooted in Caron’s neurorestorative approach, which focuses on the brain as the target organ of the disease and addresses the complex biological, psychological, and social aspects of addiction. Eligible former players who can benefit from Caron’s services will participate in a program specifically designed for them. Services include multidisciplinary neurocognitive screening and brain mapping, which are integral to creating recovery plans that are both personalized and precise. In addition to traditional treatment modalities, including MAT, when appropriate, members will have access to physical therapy, wellness and life skill services.
“We are focused on helping all of our patients build a strong foundation for recovery,” said Dr. Adam Scioli, DO, DFAPA, FASAM, FAOAAM, Chief Medical Officer for Caron Treatment Centers. “Addiction is a treatable brain disease. We’re excited to work with The Trust to offer their members access to Caron’s transformative care.” Comments are closed.
