From interactive art and dinosaur discoveries to flavorsome fun, the Museum offers engaging experiences that blend hands-on education and family entertainment. Paleo Art Series Saturday, February 14 12-2pm $15 per person Guests can paint, weave, and create their very own unique works of art using tropical palm fronds inspired by natural history and ancient traditions. Open to ages 12 and up.
Dinos and Donuts Sunday, February 15 11am-12pm $10, adults; $8, seniors; $5, children 5 and up; free for kids five and younger Savor a morning of donuts, refreshments, and interactive activities while learning about dinosaurs and fascinating elements of natural history. Dino Nite Drop-In Friday, February 20 5-7pm $15 per child Drop the kids off for a fun-filled evening of food, games, arts & crafts, and dino-themed activities. Fossil Friday Lab Workshop Friday, February 27 5-6:30pm $10, adults; $8, seniors; $5, children 5 and up Unearth the secrets of the ancient world! Calling all junior paleontologists for an interactive fossil lab experience where participants will use real tools to explore how fossils are formed, examine specimens up close, and learn how scientists identify prehistoric creatures. Refreshments provided. Ice Age and Ice Cream Saturday, February 28 4-5:30pm $30 per family Chill out then sprawl out while enjoying yummy 'screams and the megalithic animated hit Ice Age. Museum Storytime Thursdays 1-2pm Free Designed for little learners, this weekly favorite features stories, arts & crafts, and age-appropriate educational activities.
