Sammy Davis Jr., Marilyn Monroe and Elvis look-alikes (Press Release) DELRAY BEACH, FL, February 25, 2026 – Community Classroom Project (CCP), a creative community center on the Space of Mind campus which makes learning less stressful through creativity, life skills and community, hosted Pub at the Hub on January 31. Space of Mind was the title sponsor. Space of Mind is a dynamic educational services company offering flexible K-12 education solutions for students and families, as well as a young adult Gap Year, personalized curriculum development, homeschool concierge services, classes & workshops, camps, college advising, adult programs, travel and more. The annual blowout event raised more than $50,000 for the Community Classroom Project Scholarship Fund, benefitting the Launch Pad, a residential program for young adults launching into adulthood, and attracted nearly 200 attendees. Guests enjoyed music by rockabilly band, Slip & the Spinouts, food by 15 top local chefs, along with a giant buffet, casino tables, an Elvis look alike and human slot machine during the Las Vegas themed evening.
SOM’s new residential program, Launch Pad, helps young adults bridge the gap between academic life and adulthood. The program is created for young adults aged 18-26 who can benefit from training in the essential skills they need as they approach the next phase of their lives. “We’re not an organization that throws galas; we’re more the raucous house party-type,” said Ali Kaufman, founder of Space of Mind. “Our vibe is creativity, so each Pub at the Hub ups the ante on how many ways we can blow guests’ minds with creative touches and our signature attention to every fun detail. We believe more is more when celebrating our programs with our favorite people - and with the many top chefs who are part of our Community Classroom Kitchen, there’s never a shortage of incredible food and drinks!” Sharing a campus, The Hub at Space of Mind is a creative community center that offers programs for children, adults, families and educators. As the annual event’s title sponsor, Space of Mind shares a mission and vision for learning with Community Classroom Project: learning shouldn’t be stressful - and creativity is the antidote to stress. Programs include workforce training, classes, workshops, retreats and a residential program for young adults, the Launch Pad. The Hub at Space of Mind is also a full event venue available for rentals and catering and offers a full-scale recording studio, SOMe Tunes, which is run by students in the workforce training program.
