(Press Release) (PALM BEACH, FL) Promise Fund’s annual Pink Tie Guy reception on January 8, 2026, hosted by Hilary and the Honorable Wilbur Ross at their lakefront home in Palm Beach, brought together nearly 130 supporters and friends for an evening honoring the Pink Tie Guys - men who champion women battling breast and cervical cancer and help advance access to lifesaving care. Host Wilbur Ross welcomed guests and spoke to the importance of collective action in building a future where all women have equitable access to cancer care. Board Chairman David Brodsky reflected on the women in his own family who have battled breast cancer and acknowledged the leadership of Promise Fund’s Board and staff, thanked Mayor Danielle Moore for her longstanding support, and recognized event chairs Ellen Levy, Julie Fisher Cummings, Paulette Koch, and Diane and John Sculley.
Promise Fund’s co-founder Ambassador Nancy G. Brinker recalled the personal promise she made to her sister, Susan G. Komen, and the measurable impact that promise continues to deliver. She highlighted the organization’s recent growth, noting that the Promise Fund has now engaged more than 125,000 women, screened over 20,000 for breast and cervical cancer, and navigated 271 women through cancer treatment. She also shared news of three new Promise Fund Women’s Health Programs that opened last year, significantly expanding the organization’s reach and accelerating its impact. A special moment in the program spotlighted Driven by the Promise, the student-led initiative founded by Dariyan Younessi, with the launch of a charity auction in partnership with Heritage Auctions. The 2025 Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide RR, generously donated by the Younessi family, was unveiled, with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting Promise Fund. Younessi introduced his fellow Junior Pink Tie Guys, symbolizing the future of the mission. Sebastian Clarke of Heritage Auctions guided guests through the auction process which will conclude on February 24. The Pink Tie Guy reception kicked off Promise Fund’s seasonal programming and its upcoming Major Donor Dinner at Club Colette on March 9, 2026. Pink Tie Guy was sponsored by Brioni Palm Beach, Jana and Tim Davidson, James “Chip” DiPaula, Paul and Roberta Kozloff, Baptist Health Cancer Care, Braman Motorcars, Heritage Auctions, PopUp Bagels, and Quantum Foundation.
