The happy hour and mini golf event welcomed 80 board members, supporters and friends in celebration of Quantum House’s 25th anniversary of being a home for healing. Attendees had the opportunity to connect and enjoy friendly competition while honoring Quantum House’s promise to provide families with the comfort of home and the power of community during their medical journey. The event kicked off with remarks from Greg Quattlebaum, President and CEO of Quantum House, who reflected on the significance of this milestone. “Reaching 25 years is a testament to the incredible community that has stood beside Quantum House and the countless families whose lives have been touched during their stay here,” said Quattlebaum. “For a quarter century, supporters have helped Quantum House remain a place of comfort for families, and as we celebrate this milestone, we are looking forward to welcoming them for a year of events, milestones and continued growth.”
From shared laughter on the putting greens to meaningful conversations about the year ahead, the evening underscored the impact made possible by generous partners and supporters. As an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Quantum House relies entirely on community generosity to provide lodging in 30 private suites, home-cooked meals and compassionate care to families whose children are receiving treatment at local hospitals. “Quantum House is an organization our team truly believes in,” said Sean Ouellette, President of KAST Construction. “It’s more than a place to stay, it’s a home filled with comfort, hope and connection. We’re proud to support Quantum House and stand alongside families during some of life’s toughest moments, helping create lasting bonds between the community, volunteers and the families it serves.” Quantum House is currently in its 25th anniversary year of furthering its mission to be a place where families find respite, joy and community while their children receive medical treatment. Founded in 2001 on the campus of St. Mary’s Medical Center, Quantum House has welcomed thousands of families from around the globe. As the only facility of its kind between Orlando and Miami, Quantum House ensures that every family—regardless of background—has a place to call home during life’s most challenging moments.
