Kids dancing at Sugar Plum Dreams (Quantum House) (Press Release) (JUPITER, FL) - Children, parents and grandparents are invited to step into Sugar Plum Dreams when Quantum House's annual family celebration returns on December 6 at The Club at Admirals Cove. Chaired by Dana Godfrey, Stephanie Mitrione and Lauren Stoops Prieto, the festive evening benefits Quantum House during the organization’s 25th anniversary year, helping to ensure parents and families have a home-away-from-home near the hospital while their child receives medical treatment. Magical live performers and Santa will welcome young guests, with interactive activities and photo-worthy moments unfolding against the festive backdrop. Adults can mingle over cocktails and hors d'oeuvres before a plated dinner, while silent and live auctions offer additional opportunities to support Quantum House's mission.
“What makes Sugar Plum Dreams so special is that children are not simply watching from the sidelines; they become part of the experience,” said event co-chair and Quantum House board member Lauren Stoops Prieto. “Every surprise and thoughtful detail is designed to make the night feel unforgettable from the moment guests arrive.” Beyond the evening’s holiday festivities, Sugar Plum Dreams shines a light on the families at the heart of Quantum House. Funds raised through the event help provide a welcoming place to stay, nourishing meals and day-to-day support. “Sugar Plum Dreams gives families and friends a joyful way to celebrate the season while making a meaningful difference for families experiencing a child's medical crisis,” said Quantum House President and CEO Greg Quattlebaum. “As Quantum House celebrates its 25th anniversary, we are especially proud to continue this tradition and welcome our community for an evening filled with holiday magic, connection and generosity.” Founded in 2001 on the campus of St. Mary’s Medical Center, Quantum House has grown into a 30-suite home serving families from across the country and around the world. As the only pediatric healthcare hospitality home of its kind between Orlando and Miami, the organization provides lodging, home-cooked meals, family programming and a supportive community for families whose children are receiving specialized medical treatment. With families staying an average of six weeks, Quantum House offers stability and comfort during one of the most challenging times in their lives. Tables of 10 are $3,500. Adult dinner tickets are $375 and child dinner tickets are $125.
