(Press Release) Resource Depot, a nonprofit creative reuse center, is kicking off its 25th birthday with a weekend of upcycling! Upcycling is the process of creatively repurposing waste materials into new, higher-value items without breaking them down completely.

The festivities kick off with a lively birthday bash on Friday night, followed by a day of hands-on upcycling workshops on Saturday.

Birthday Bash Kick Off:

• Date: Friday, September 13th, 2024
• Time: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
• Details: Celebrate Resource Depot's milestone birthday with fun hands-on activities, tasty snacks, and custom-made sips, all with an upcycling twist! Create party-themed crafts to take home as special keepsakes from the event.
• Who: Open to all levels of crafting expertise. Birthday Bash is for individuals 21+

Upcycle Day Workshops:

• Date: Saturday, September 14th, 2024
• Time: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
• Details: Mix and mingle with fellow creatives and unleash your inner upcycler. Choose three one-hour “make and take” workshops to rotate between, guided by local independent makers. Learn to transform everyday materials into premium handmade goodies.
• Who: Open to all levels of crafting expertise. Participants must be 16+
