Artists’ Jewelry: From Cubism to Pop, the Diane Venet Collection – Through October 5.

Laddie John Dill – Eastern Standard Time – Through October 19.

Veiled Presence: The Hidden Mothers and Sara VanDerBeek – Through November 30.

The Virtue of Vice: The Art of Social Commentary – Through January 4, 2026.

Leslie Hewitt: Achromatic Scales – September 13, 2025-February 22, 2026.

Art of the Word: Calligraphy and Chinese Artists – Through November 23.

La Florida: Chinese Flower Paintings: The Art of Renewal (Installation 1 of 2) – Through November 16.

Afterschool Arts Outreach Exhibition: No Place Like Home – Through November 23.

ART AFTER DARK
Art After Dark – 5-10 p.m. Fridays. Norton Museum of Art, 1450 S. Dixie Highway, West Palm Beach. Admission: Free for Members; $10 for adults and seniors; $5 for students. First Friday of the month is Jazz Friday. Tours are 5 and 7 p.m. Open Studio art workshops are 6-9 p.m. Artist tours are 8 p.m. the third Friday of the month. Info: (561) 832-5196 or www.norton.org.
  • September 5 – Jazz Friday, with Russ Spiegel.
  • September 12 – Open Spaces, an annual site-specific dance performance featuring original works and repertoire; music with DJ and violinist Lexey.
  • September 19 – Screening of the film My Beautiful Nicaragua; art, music, dance and storytelling by the Ameyal Mexican Cultural Organization.
  • September 26 – Performance by the Jon Lehrer Dance Company.

SPECIAL PERFORMANCES

Hollywood Gems: A Summer Film Series – In celebration of Artists Jewelry: From Cubism to Pop, the Diane Venet Collection, the Norton presents films of Hollywood glamour with jewelry as the star. All films are screened in the Stiller Auditorium.
Cost: Museum admission/free to members.
  • To Catch a Thief – 2 p.m. Sunday, September 7. The 1955 Alfred Hitchcock film starring Cary Grant and Grace Kelly.
  • The Great Gatsby – 2 p.m. Sunday, September 21. The 1974 film adaptation of the F. Scott Fitzgerald novel, starring Robert Redford and Mia Farrow and directed by Jack Clayton.

Jazz Brunch with Adam Douglass and friends – 11 a.m.-3 p.m. September 21, The Restaurant. Enjoy jazz, mimosas, and brunch at The Restaurant. Each month will feature a different local jazz artist. Reservations: norton.org/TheRestaurant.

ART CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS
Mindful Moments – Noon Monday, September 8. Join Jodi Sypher, MS Ed., for a mindfulness practice using a work of art as the object of attention. Discover the art of slowing down and becoming aware of the present moment using art as a tool for practice.
Space is limited; online registration required. Cost: Museum admission/Members free.

Book + Art – 2-3:30 p.m. Saturday, September 13 – Banyan Moon, by Thao Thai + Veiled Presence: The Hidden Mothers and Sara VanDerBeek.
A multigenerational family saga centered on three Vietnamese American women who navigate love, loss, identity and the complexities of a shared past. Read the book and join the discussion and a gallery tour led by Norton Museum staff. E-books and audiobooks are available on the cloudLibrary app. Free event; space is limited, so register online at Norton.org. Book + Art was made possible in partnership with the Palm Beach County Library System. ​
