Silk & Sugga Opens at Wellington Mall

(Press Release) WELLINGTON, FL – A decadent new destination has joined the more than 160 stores at The Mall at Wellington Green. Silk & Sugga, which opened on June 1, 2026, brings gourmet desserts to the mall’s diverse mix of dining, fashion, beauty and entertainment.

Silk & Sugga marks the brand’s first location and a longtime dream for co-founder Charrisse Clark-Smith, a Detroit native who moved to Palm Beach County in 2012. Clark-Smith’s passion for baking grew while working as a nurse for a national organization, a busy role which frequently had her traveling to other states to help open new facilities. Baking became her “me” time and a creative outlet when she returned home.

The name Silk & Sugga, Clark-Smith says, came from a brainstorming process centered on how she wanted the cookies to make people feel. She wanted the name to reflect the indulgence, comfort and creativity behind both the cookies and the baking process. Today, she and her father, Sherwood Clark Sr., are co-owners of Silk & Sugga, bringing that passion to life together.

Serving up freshly baked cookies in indulgent flavors, Silk & Sugga offers a sweet escape for shoppers, with top sellers including Banana Pudding, S’mores and Cookies & Cream. Seasonal favorites include Peach Cobbler and Caramel Apple Pie, with each treat hand-baked with a focus on rich flavors and creative combinations.
