(Press Release) JUPITER, FL—At Blackbird Modern Asian—Palm Beach County’s culinary gem for award-winning Pan-Asian gastronomy—one small plate is set to steal the spotlight just in time for National Oyster Day on August 5: crispy, craveable tempura oysters ($21).
 
Drawing inspiration from the delicacies found on bustling Chinatown dim sum carts, the slurpable starter features Copps Island and Blue Point oysters crowned with ultra-fresh mango, smoked bacon, house-fermented kimchi, and a silky yuzu aioli. The result is a bite that’s smoky, crackly, and perfectly balanced with subtle notes of sweetness and exotic spice.

The briny dish shines even brighter alongside selections from Blackbird’s groundbreaking libations program. Try the Mulan Mule ($14)—vodka, ginger beer, lime, and lemongrass—for a spicy, citrusy lift that complements the oysters’ umami depth. Or opt for the Cobra Kai ($15), a mix of gin, shiso, and lychee purée that enhances the smoky richness with bright, floral notes. For a clean, elegant finish, pair with a chilled bottle of Japanese sake (starting at $23).

Blackbird opens daily for dinner at 4 p.m. Entertainment and a live DJ are featured on Friday and Saturday evenings from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. 
 
The restaurant hosts a daily happy hour menu with half-priced cocktails, wine, and beer on Monday from 4 p.m. until close and Tuesday through Sunday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
 
Reservations will be accepted for tables of 8 or larger based on availability. Walk-ins and seating commence at 4 p.m.
