![]() (Press Release) West Palm Beach, Florida - Each year, Clinics Can Help (CCH) and its heartfelt base of advocates and supporters gather for the Cribs for Kids luncheon in order to spur funding, collect resources, and build awareness around CCH’s mission. While CCH serves children and adults in need of medical equipment year-round, this special event focuses on its most precious clients, newborns and infants, in need of a safe place to sleep. The annual luncheon, educating guests on equality and access for all to prevent Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), will take place on Friday, December 5th, at The Ben located in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida. The winter wonderland themed luncheon will draw of local vendors where attendees can get their holiday shopping done as well as a silent auction packed with great gift ideas.
During the event, fun entertainment, a riveting live auction, and celebrity guest speaker will fill out the agenda with the hopes that the community will again show up big for the babies benefiting from the funds and supplies raised at the luncheon. In years past, CCH and its partners have dutifully stood up resources to help combat the staggering statistics around SIDS. “To think of something so simple, a safe place to rest your head at night, as a lacking need for many parents, who have an infant or newborn is at the heart of this luncheon,” said Clinics Can Help CEO Owen O’Neill. “Everyone infant and newborn in our community deserves a safe place to sleep and I am so proud of our community for rallying behind our mission and working to lessen the precious lives lost to SIDS each year.” The Winter Wonderland luncheon will hold various experiences for guests to learn more about CCH’s impact while engaging with speakers, connecting with local vendors, and competitively bidding on exclusive auction offerings. During the previous annual luncheon, CCH reported that hundreds of thousands of dollars were raised not only providing cribs, but sustaining the organization’s ability to continue meeting the medical needs of thousands in South Florida. To date, Clinics Can Help has aided more than 26,000 children and adults with an astonishing $14,000,000 worth of medical equipment and life-saving supplies. The organization works to increase access to health equity leading to bright futures.
