The races will all start and finish near the Meyer Amphitheatre on Flagler Drive, in West Palm Beach. On Friday, December 12, volunteers are needed to assist with packet pick-up and registration. Race weekend kicks off with the 5K and 10K on December 13, and the marathon, half marathon and relay on December 14. “U.S. Polo Assn. Palm Beaches Marathon is honored to partner with three incredible charitable organizations that make a real difference in our community,” said Ken Kennerly, owner of the U.S. Polo Assn. Marathon of the Palm Beaches. “Our partners include Quantum House, Palm Beach Roadrunners and Special Olympics Florida. Together, we can help continue their important missions and strengthen the community we all share.” “Community support allows us to extend our impact even further,” said Greg Quattlebam, President and CEO of Quantum House. “We invite families, friends and colleagues to join us for a morning of fun and giving back. Every day, we strive to lift spirits, ease stress and create moments of comfort during difficult times. This event is a wonderful opportunity to share this mission beyond the walls of the House.” As an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Quantum House relies on the generosity of the community to continue its mission. Guests staying at the House are relieved from the stress and financial hardship that is often added to the trauma of illness or injury. No one is ever turned away due to an inability to pay. Quantum House serves local residents as well as families from across the country and around the world, ensuring that every family—regardless of background—has a place to call home during difficult times.
