(Press Release) (West Palm Beach, FL – August 22, 2024) The League of Women Voters of Palm Beach County (LWVPBC) is partnering with Leadership Palm Beach County and Palm Beach State College to present ELECTION EXPO 2024, a nonpartisan, information-packed, networking event. The public is invited to attend for FREE on Monday, September 30, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, in the Palm Beach State College Gymnasium at 4200 S. Congress Avenue in Lake Worth 33461. This ELECTION EXPO is the perfect opportunity for people to meet one-on-one with many of this year’s leading candidates and receive valuable pre-election information on ballot Amendments and Referendum, plus a copy of the League’s free Voters’ Guide. There will also be a voter machine demonstration, an introduction to www.Vote411.org, activities, refreshments, and more. “The League’s Voters’ Guide provides residents with many of the facts they will need to cast a well-informed vote,” said LWVPBC President Kathi Gundlach. “Voting is a precious right, and the League has been empowering voters with the truth for 100 years.” Sponsors of this informative, nonpartisan event include Searcy Denney Scarola Barnhart & Shipley, PA, The Palm Beach Post, and Smith Ball Baez & Prather Florida Injury Lawyers.
