Wednesday, January 21 / 11 am to 1 pm Beyond the Headlines: Property Taxes Explained What is all the talk about cutting property taxes in Florida? What will it mean for local governments that rely on that money and where will their funding come from? What will the impact be on residents and visitors? Wednesday, February 18 / 11 am to 1 pm Defending Democracy in the Courts Barbara Pariente, former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Florida, will give a presentation about the current issues in Florida and Federal courts, with a focus on cases that involve voting rights and principles of democracy.
