North Palm Beach Life is proud to add humor writer Susan Goldfein to our website. A published author, she said she "started writing when she discovered, in retirement, that she looked terrible in golf clothes and canasta had way too many rules."
She notes that, "Looking for something personally meaningful to do that did not require wearing polo shirts, she enrolled in a class for fledging writers. Not quite ready to tackle the great American novel, she began to write short, witty essays about life from the perspective of 'a woman of a certain age.' "
So she started a blog, called Susan’s Unfiltered Wit, where she posts twice a month. Susan is the author of two award-winning collections of humorous personal essays: “How Old Am I in Dog Years?” and “How to Complain When There’s Nothing to Complain About.” Check out her Author Page at http://tiny.cc/4reiz .
