(Press Release) WEST PALM BEACH, FLA - Luxury retirement community Wellington Bay showcased their commitment in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease by achieving a top-three fundraising rank at the annual Palm Beach Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Dreher Park in West Palm Beach. The Wellington Bay team featured 10 Independent Living residents and 15 staff members, many of whom brought their families to the walk as part of 1007 participants who came together to support the world’s largest fundraiser for Alzheimer's care, support, and research.
The total funds raised by all 152 participating teams reached $255,498. Wellington Bay set an ambitious team fundraising goal of $10,000 and quickly surpassed expectations. “The Wellington Bay team set a fundraising goal of $10,000 and are thrilled to share that we’ve already surpassed it, reaching $11,464.25 with a bit more still expected to come in,” said Dana Ray, Business Development Director. “It was a meaningful, uplifting event, and we were proud to be part of it.” The enthusiastic participation underscores Wellington Bay’s dedication to addressing Alzheimer's disease, a progressive disorder that destroys memory and vital life skills.
