(Press Release) The South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (SFRTA) will be performing crossing rehabilitation work on Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. in West Palm Beach. This project will require a full closure of the road at the railroad crossing from Friday, February 6, 2026 at 9:00 p.m., through Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 4:00 a.m. The work may extend through Wednesday, February 11, if delayed by weather or unforeseen circumstances.
During the closure, SFRTA will rehabilitate the existing tracks, repair rails, and replace crossing surface that will enhance the safety, improve the ride quality for railway and roadway, and improve the resiliency of the corridor. A detour route will be in place to accommodate local traffic. All vehicles will be directed to N. Australian Avenue, with access to 15th Street, 7th Street, or Banyan Boulevard to bypass the work zone. For additional assistance, please call 1-800- TRI-RAIL (874-7245). Comments are closed.
