Zachary Lipson (YMCA) (Press Release) Lake Worth Beach, Fla. (July 17, 2025) – The YMCA of the Palm Beaches has announced Zachary Lipson will be joining its team as its new Healthy Connections Coordinator. The Y’s new Healthy Connections Program provides personalized wellness coaching for young adults struggling with independence. Participation includes a YMCA membership and support in building healthy routines, confidence, and life skills. The program also connects participants with community resources aligned with their individual goals in health, career, and education. Lipson will focus on personal growth, community engagement, and wellness for individuals in the program facing diverse challenges. He approaches his new role with empathy, clear structure, and a deep belief in the potential of every person he’s privileged to work with. Lipson previously served as an adaptive fitness coordinator for the YMCA of Delaware and as an adaptive fitness specialist for Endless Possibilities in the Community (EPIC), also in Delaware. In these roles, he designed and implemented personalized fitness programs that prioritized accessibility, autonomy, and whole-person wellness. Lipson spent the past year and a half teaching Social Studies to high school seniors at Somerset Academy Canyons. He focused on building strong connections with his students and ensuring they were prepared for life after graduation. Lipson made it his mission to support them, both in and beyond the classroom, as they took their next steps into the real world. This work led him to his current role, where he will help young adults find their way with support and guidance. “Zachary will be a pivotal part of our new program’s success,” said Tim Coffield, CEO of the YMCA of the Palm Beaches. “This program will help many young adults struggling with independent living, including those aging out of foster care and others who might be considered at-risk.” Lipson is a graduate of the University of Delaware, where he studied health behavioral science. He is actively pursuing his master’s degree in counseling at Nova Southeastern University. Comments are closed.
