American's Great United States Cruise to Start

(American Cruise Lines) American Cruise Lines’ first 2026 Great United States Cruise begins this Friday, May 29th in Portland, Oregon (and ends June 19th in Boston, MA). Modern American Riverboat™, American Jazz,  will depart on May 30th, from the Port of Skamania, in Stevenson, WA. This 52-Day domestic adventure cruises both rivers and protected coastal waterways and will be operated aboard both riverboats and new small cruise ships.

The Great United States Cruise 2026:

52-Days/51-Nights - Sailing from Portland, Oregon to Boston, Massachusetts – May 29, 2026, to July 19, 2026

Highlights: Exploring 18 states aboard 3 ships, including modern riverboats, American Jazz and American Serenade, and the newest small cruise ship in the country, American Pioneer. Visiting 3 National Parks: Yellowstone, Glacier, and Grand Teton. Cruising U.S. waterways from the Pacific Northwest coast in Astoria, OR, to the country’s western rivers, along the Columbia and Snake. Sailing the length of the Mississippi River and cruising up the picturesque New England coast as far as Bangor, Maine; also includes the islands of Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard. Cruise guests will spend the 4th of July in Boston, MA, at the Four Seasons Hotel and will enjoy the Fireworks Spectacular over the Charles River along with the City’s 250th celebrations.  

The 2026 Great United States Cruise honors the country’s 250th Birthday this year, but due to popularity and demand, it will be offered again in 2027 (and is open to book now).
