Ecoventura Sets New 2025 Themed Departures

(Press Release) With the Galapagos' widely regarded as one of 2025's most coveted destinations, the archipelago's only Relais & Chateaux cruise line, Ecoventura, is excited to expand its onboard experiences with newly announced specialty-themed departures planned for this year. Offering one of the most intimate and luxurious ways to explore humanity's final frontier, the themed itineraries will only elevate what is already a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

Catering to specific interests and leveraging this year's most popular emerging trends, the three 20-passenger mega-yacht fleet has tailored 7-night/8-day itineraries to the themes below:
  • A Cultural, Culinary Immersion: Ecoventura partnered with fellow Relais & Châteaux -ranked Ecuadorian chefs to relaunch its series of specialty culinary departures with award-winning, prestigious "pop-up" guest chefs from all over the country. These specialty culinary sails offer guests next-level breakfast, lunches & four-course nightly dinners and cooking lessons. Beyond the kitchen, Ecoventura is the foremost leader in destination conservation on all fronts -- including cuisine, sourcing over 53% of all ingredients used directly from the Galapagos, supporting the economic ecosystem and their responsible growing practices (more than any other cruise in the destination). This guarantees that the food you taste onboard is not just authentic to the country's flavors, cultures and traditions, but also uses ingredients that carry the unique flavors of one of the most protected places on earth. Additionally, for the first time this year, Ecoventura will be partnering with 100% local Ecuadorian premium wine label Bodega Dos Hemisferios to showcase Ecuadorian wine-making onboard our ships.
  • Astro-Adventures: Exploring the Galapagos is an experience that forces you to contemplate your very own existence as you are immersed in an otherworldly natural paradise, which inspired Darwin's Theory of Evolution. But what many may not know is that this profound trip takes it to a whole different level once the sun goes down, when the fall of night reveals the mind-blowing display of the cosmos. The remote destination has long been a hotspot for foremost astronomy experts, drawing astrophysicists and experts from institutions like Harvard and Oxford to study the Galapagos' view of the stars. Astro-fans this year can experience stargazing from Ecoventura's relaxing upper deck in the archipelago's majestic waters, guided by one of its onboard certified naturalists, equipped with specialty camera lenses and star kits for the ultimate night sky experience when they book a dedicated Photography Departure.
  • A "Mother Earth" Wellness Retreat: With wellness trends turning back to the basics of nature and promoting the adoption of sustainable lifestyle changes, Ecoventura is inviting guests to reset at the birthplace of evolution, where they can disconnect and reconnect with mother nature for a life-changing reset. Launching its first-ever wellness retreat, Ecoventura will host a series of specialty departures in late summer and early fall, which will place an added focus on the physical and mental health of its guests with a curated itinerary that includes guided silent snorkeling, "grounding" barefoot hiking, hot tub and ocean cold plunges, special health-conscious menus, a zero-proof bar, and more.

In addition to the specialty departures, Ecoventura has also launched a new ongoing offer, designed to incentivize guests to cross the ultimate Galapagos adventure off their bucket list in 2025. While a lot of people think an unforgettable trip to the Galapagos might take months, if not years of planning to make it possible, this year, with the rise of the spontaneous travel trend, Ecoventura is rewarding the bold by offering a fully all-inclusive "last-minute getaway" package. This includes the 7-night/8-day cruise with all food and beverages, daily excursions and programming all covered, a 2-night hotel stay leading up to or after your sail, roundtrip airfare from Guayaquil or Quito, and national park entrance fees. Best of all, guests will save 20% on their trip by booking within 30 days of the sail.
